3 Years Old! {Northville, MI Family and Children's Photographer}

Last week I spent time with this family, photographing "S" to celebrate her 3rd birthday!  Not only is "S" beautiful, she definitely is a free spirit with a mind of her own.   I love this age - it's so much fun to watch as children become more independent and expressive.  I'm excited about the images we captured, and I hope you enjoy the preview Mom and Dad!

Perfect in Plum! {Northville, Michigan Family and Children's Photographer}

I had a lot of fun photographing this family last week - and I completely love the colors that mom chose to dress the family in.  Plum is one of my favorite colors, and it really pops with the green grassy backgrounds.  I hope you enjoy the preview!

S turned 4 in June - isn't she beautiful and sweet?!

And little S turned 1 in June... such a cutie - I'm in love with curls at the back of his neck and bright blue eyes.  This boy will definitely be breaking hearts in the future! 

As with many of my summer sessions, we ended with bubbles.  Even the bubbles have the plum color -- gorgeous!

This may be one of my favorite images from my summer sessions.  I love how quiet and graceful the image is.

My first Senior session blog post features photos of my niece - Class of 2011!  We took advantage of the wonderful and surprising backdrops in her hometown - an abandoned railroad bridge, train cars, grain elevator, and the historic commercial buildings in Grand Rapids, Ohio.  I'm really thrilled with the way these photos turned out, and I hope she is too!  Congrats L -- I hope you have a great Senior year!

Extended Family! {Northville, MI Family Photograher}

I had the pleasure of photographing this extended family just over a week ago, in celebration of grandma's birthday!  I love the idea of giving grandparents a photo session to capture their whole family at a moment in time.  Especially, when the family lives across the country as this one does.  But everyone (now living in Florida, Chicago, and Michigan) converged in Northville to celebrate this special birthday.  And, they were wonderful to work with.  I hope you like the sneak peek!

Exciting New Things!

I'm very excited to share lots of images from last night's senior session with my niece, but I still have to play catch-up with a few other sessions.  So, I thought I would just share a couple images, and introduce -- Christine Long Photography: Seniors.

Holiday Cards 2010! {Novi, MI Children's and Family Portrait Photographer}
