Introducing Ashley! She'll be a senior at Ladywood High School starting in the fall (Class of 2012), and she's one of my reps for the year.  We were lucky that her grandparents shared their backyard with us -- the setting was just perfect.  And, I definitely can't wait to hold her full session in the summer or fall.  She's such a natural in front of the camera!

17 days old! {Northville, MI and Metro Detroit Newborn and Family Photographer}

Introducing Baby H! He's 17 days old in these photos and absolutely adorable.  I had a lot of fun photographing this sweet family, and I think little C is going to be a great big sister!  Hope you enjoy the preview mom and dad!

I love when I walk in the door and immediately see the most perfect (and unique) location for newborn photographs.  Who would have guessed this drum from New Mexico would make such a great baby holder and photography prop?!

Ah, springtime.  These images just make me thankful that the rain seems to be gone and the springtime sunshine is here.  Baby in a laundry basket - check; perfect picture window lighting - check; cute (and cooperative) kids - check!  Love it!

Sneak Peek! {Metro Detroit and Ann Arbor Family Photographer}

You may remember this beautiful duo from last year - we decided to have a little springtime tea party in the botanical gardens to start off the session.  How sweet are they?  I love how serious M was about her tea...just look at the next few images!

And who doesn't love bubbles.  I love watching kids react to bubbles...chase them, jump for them, try to hold them.  It's always pure joy and reminds me of childhood.  Now that spring is here (I hope), I can't wait for more bubble-filled sessions!
