Maternity Self Portraits

I'm not sure I've ever taken self portraits before, so this was my first attempt. Since I don't have a remote, I set my camera on a tripod and used the timer. I thought now would be the perfect time to experiment with self portraits. I'm now 36 weeks pregnant and I can't wait to meet our little boy!!

I did cheat a little with this one. My husband came home in the middle of my photo session and I roped him into taking a couple photos, with me directing, of course. Here are the results!!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Wishing you a happy valentine's day!! I just wanted to share some photographs that I took of my little one this week to celebrate Valentine's Day. She thoroughly enjoyed the heart-shaped lollipop and was quite the little model for me. Usually, she's more reluctant, but this week she proved to be a trooper. Enjoy!

This is one of the few pictures I have of "S" where her eyelashes look so long and pretty -- I love it!!

I also love this image -- we had just gotten about 7 inches of snow the night before, and "S" was having fun looking out the window at the snow. Plus, the light reflecting off the white snow really adds to this indoor photo!
