Glimpses: Week 22

I'm quite a bit late in posting this Glimpses post, but here we go.... for the long Memorial Day weekend, we traveled to North Carolina to meet up with my mom's family and celebrate my grandmother's 90th birthday!!    Before the big family get-together, we were able to take our kids over to my grandma's and share some very special time together.  This was the very first time Claire met her great-grandma, and I'm so excited to share a few of the photographs of our time together.  I especially love this first one!

And Sophie had a secret to share with great grandma....love the reaction from my grandma (and my mom too)!

Glimpses: Week 19

A glimpse into Claire's new milestone -- solid food!  We've been trying lots of homemade baby foods and here's a photo of Claire's reaction to avocado.  So far, I think her favorite has been butternut squash.

Can I just add, it's really hard to hold heavy camera and take a photo while also trying to balance food and get it into her tiny little mouth...lol!

Energetic Boys!

Last weekend, I was lucky to spend some time with this beautiful and very energetic family!  I'm excited to share just a few - and believe me, it was hard to narrow these down!  I can't wait to show you many more during your Session Premiere!!

Glimpses: Week 17

Sophie loves (and I really do mean 'loves') to dance!  She especially enjoys it when she has an audience.  And what better audience than a immobile but very alert 5 month old? I love this sweet capture of two sisters at the end of a performance!

Glimpses: Week 15

Guess where my sweet husband took me for our 5 year wedding anniversary last weekend?  That's right - Chicago!  Since I'm still nursing, we traveled with just the baby, while the other two stayed with Grandma and Grandpa.  It was such a treat for all of us!  We had a great trip and Claire was the perfect traveling companion. I can't believe we've already been married 5 years (and had 3 babies in that time)!  Here's to many more years together :)

Glimpses: Week 14

Potty training has started for this little one.  This picture is from our first day's attempt at potty training.  I showed him all of his Cars-themed undies, and he was so excited.  So excited that he decided he needed to wear all 7 pairs on his legs while sitting on the potty!  I love his expression here as he tries to close the door on me... clearly this one wants his privacy!!
